Carschooling Visual and Performing Arts: Silver Sculptures

A carschooling mom from Utah always keeps a roll of aluminum foil in the car. When the kids start to wiggle and squirm, she passes a roll of foil around the car and tells the kids to make silver sculptures. She said, “Sometimes they just wad up a bunch of foil and then start to shape it into something recognizable. Other times they carefully fashion dogs, snakes, people, cars, hearts, stars, action figures, and whatever else their imaginations dictate. They have also made crowns, hats, masks, chains, rings, bracelets, and other accessories. My son occasionally wads up a ball of aluminum foil and the kids have fun batting it around in the backseat of the car.”
